Video 2 -First Scan of the Day
* Second and additional scans of the day - scan everything, upload, select zone (DO NOT override by zone, or select All Categories, override by category
"ONLY select zone...."option A push to EXT (example LS)

QUICK REVIEW
On the day of inventory
-
-
- Step 1 – go to app.senitron.net to the desired location, go to the compare page, and click to download to download the current Lightspeed quantities
- Step 2 – start the 1st scan of the day, and conclude it by uploading, and making sure to set the 3 flag options, (override by zone, by category, all categories)
- Step 3 – do all the additional scans and uploads, until everything is scanned in
- Step 4 – use the discrepancy scans to close the gap on anything that could have been missed.
- Step 5 – go back app.senitron.net’s compare page, and if everything looks good, make sense, do the option to SYNC to Lightspeed. And follow the prompts to start the process. Once it is done, you will receive the report as well in an email.
-
As a final step for validation, on the compare page, click to redownload the lightspeed quantities, refresh the page, the compare should be 100% matching. There should be no item that Senitron has more or less than Lightspeed… (this confirm that Lightspeed took everything Senitron sent it.)
Method 2 - Cycle Counting By Category
-
- Inventory Compare (basics, exclude, bulk exclude, exclude category, make all items in LS zero)

FAQs
When printing tags can we validate just what we printed? Scanner picking up all surrounding tags
Excess voids. Why? How to prevent.
Map reflects product in multiple areas between marker when we know we only have it in one. (Best practices for using the Map, and reading locations in Senitron, and finding the product from the Map to the floor)
Best practices for placement so not seen by consumer. Alternate way to affix near metal fixtures. Markers falling off.
Handheld RFID Scanner battery life concerns.
* validate label and confirm which labels are bad labels during a physical.
* Can gun be set to single prompt?
* tags that the handheld did not read. Identify product that isn’t reading the label.
* How do we know which of the 7 it is picking up so we can print the labels if indeed those are bad.
* Do we need to walk each product into a different space to test all ten, or if we could scan each one we would know.
* When we find it…what are the steps on the gun to print the new label and then move back in to adding those to the count.

Is decreasing the sensitivity the only way to read a smaller area.
Product on shelving with encased metal shelves. Does Not touch metal will it read? or does it need certain distance?
Is there a chart for the handheld RFID reader to show how far it can read RFID tagged inventory, from various distances, based on sensitivity?
Best practice for scanning product to know picked up all items (Scanner not picking up all shirts folded in a stack)
Does tag location on product matter (Postcards, mousepads, greeting cards had to scan individually as scanner didn’t read)
Can we enter recount manually versus picking up through retag
How do I see asset movements for killed tags in the cloud?
Q: If we RFID scanned yesterday, and did not sync that info to Lightspeed yesterday, and today we want to sync that info to Lightspeed, do we need to do anything with the sales from yesterday or does Senitron automatically realize what's been sold since we scanned?
A: You do not need to anything as long as they are using the RFID pos stations the RFID inventory will stay in sync. That’s why it is important to use the RFID pos scanners to let the RFID system know to remove or add in inventory. Sales / returns.
The same is true about doing transfers. If transfers are made, before the data is uploaded to Lightspeed, then you will need to use the transfer app on the RFID handheld unit, to keep Senitron RFID inventory counts in sync until you push that data to the Lightspeed.

Q: Can you again explain why one of the inventory uploads failed from the handheld RFID reader.

Q: How do we change counts in Senitron when we have done a recount by hand?
You can not change it by hand in Senitron, it defeats the purpose. You can change it in LS by hand if you want to. In that case exclude that item from RFID sync, so that Senitron does not tell LS the count.
