How does RFID equipment check-out work?
Each item carries an RFID label. Staff choose the customer or employee on a handheld RFID reader and scan the equipment — the reader captures many items at once — and Senitron records every item against that person with the date, time and handheld used.
How does check-in show what is missing?
Returned equipment is scanned the same way. Senitron compares it with what was checked out and lists anything not returned, and staff can record damage or missing parts with an issue type and a note.
Can RFID track kits with several parts?
Yes. You can set the number of parts that belong to an item, such as a tent with its poles and stakes, so check-in confirms every part came back.
Is RFID better than barcodes for rental check-out?
